Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Warmuply ("we", "us") collects through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email us at hello@warmuply.com.

Warmuply hasn't launched yet. Right now this website offers a launch waitlist and free tools. When the Warmuply app launches, it will need more information, such as access to the Google Workspace inbox you connect. We'll update this policy before we collect any of it.

The short version

• We only collect what you give us on the waitlist and what we need to run the free tools.
• We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
• We don't use cookies for tracking, analytics or ads.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• your first name;
• your email address;
• which button you clicked to join (for example, the pricing section);
• the date and time you joined.

When you use the SPF, DKIM and DMARC checker, we receive the domain and the DKIM selector you type in. We look them up in public DNS records, which anyone can read. We don't save the domain or the results in a database. Results may be cached for up to 60 seconds, so checking the same domain again straight away is faster. To stop the checker being overused, we hold your IP address in memory for up to 10 minutes and allow 20 checks in that time. Our own logs record only the results, such as whether each record passed, never the domain. Our hosting provider's short-term request logs (see below) include the address of each request, and for a check that address contains the domain. If you share a results link, the domain you checked is part of that link too.

When you use the warmup schedule calculator, everything happens in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us, and the CSV file you download is created on your device.

When you visit any page, our hosting provider receives the technical information every website receives: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and when. It uses this to deliver the site and keep it secure, and keeps it only for a short time.

When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

How we use it

• Waitlist details: to email you about Warmuply's launch and the launch discount we offered when you joined. We won't send you other marketing unless you agree to it separately.
• Checker details: to run the check you asked for and to prevent abuse.
• Technical information: to run the website, keep it secure and fix problems.
• Emails you send us: to reply to you.

We'll also use information where the law requires it.

If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, our legal bases are your consent (for the waitlist, which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website and free tools, and our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us, and only what they need:

• Vercel hosts the website and runs the free checker.
• Supabase stores the waitlist.
• Google Public DNS and Cloudflare DNS receive the domain names the checker looks up. The lookups come from our servers, so they don't receive your IP address.

These providers process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We'd only share it otherwise if the law required it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of Warmuply, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist details: until we've emailed you about the launch. If you don't create a Warmuply account, we delete them within 12 months of launch. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
• Checker details: up to 60 seconds for cached results and up to 10 minutes for the IP address used for rate limiting.
• Hosting logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.
• Emails you send us: for as long as we need them to help you.

Where it's stored

The website and the waitlist are hosted in the United States. If you're outside the United States, your information is transferred there. Our providers protect these transfers with safeguards recognized by data protection law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How we protect it

The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The waitlist database can only be read by people who manage Warmuply, and the website itself can add new signups but can't read the list. We never ask for card details, passwords or access to your inbox on this website.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and send you a copy;
• correct anything that's wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop using it, or use it only in limited ways;
• remove you from the waitlist, which also withdraws your consent.

Depending on where you live, you may have other rights too, for example under the GDPR in the UK and EU or under US state privacy laws such as California's. We'll honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

To make a request, email hello@warmuply.com. We'll reply within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address you gave us. You can also reply to any email from us to be removed from the waitlist. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we'll delete their details.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
